Starting a website can be very confusing and difficult to know where to start. The first thing to decide is the layout. Writing this out on paper to get ideas and select one is called wireframing. This is you vision for how you want your website to look and the layout of it. Wireframes are used to map out the look of your website. This is where you deicde the paragraphs, images and control panel placement.The next thing is a mood board. Here you can go crazy and pick a color palate, the aesthetic, and truly what makes your website true to you. This where you can be creative and fun fun. It should be a reflection of YOU. Gathering the Layout

Getting together everything you need for your website can be tricky. Using Wireframing, and your moodboard it makes it a lot easier. Putting this out in the open for what you want and need included in your website is a good start. Wireframes are best done just by hand on a piece of paper. They are more true to you this way. Making multiple different wireframes is essential to find the right combination that you want. This is a great way to get your ideas out.

Piecing it Together

Using all of these tools, you should be better equipted to start your website. The best websites are the unique ones that you can feel the style of the person or company. The colors, vibe, and aesthetic are all ways to make your website stand out from the rest. A lot of things play into having a successful website, but hopefully this will help you become more confident in the process.
